Specify the Default TCP/IP Type of Service (TOS) (Windows NT) Category: Home > Network > Protocols > TCP-IP This setting specifies the default type of service (TOS) for IP packets generated by the TCP/IP stack. This can be used to manage quality of service (QOS) throughout a network. Open your registry and find the key below. Create a new DWORD value called "DefaultTOS" and set it to the 8 bit number represent the default TOS for IP packets. Restart Windows for the change to take effect.
